February 27, 1938 - January 27, 2004
A memorial service for Helen Sabin Klose of St. Paul, formerly of Frost, was held Sunday, February 8, 2004, at the Roseville Memorial Chapel, Roseville, MN. Internment will be at the Dell Lutheran Cemetery of rural Frost at a later date. Helen died January 27, 2004, of complications following surgery to remove a brain tumor.
Helen was February 27, 1938, at Thompson, Iowa, the daughter of Judith (Peterson) and Roger Sabin. She was a graduate of Frost High School and attended the University of Minnesota.
After working as a social worker at Blue Earth, she moved to the Twin Cities where she was employed in St. Paul as an administrator for the American Institute of Hydrology for 21 years. She planned and organized the annual National and International Conferences around the world in addition to her basic duties.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Belinda Klose of South St. Paul and a son Bill (Tarii) Klose of New Brighton; a brother Paul (Kay) Sabin of Cannon Falls; and by three grandsons.
