Funeral services for Charlotte (Albert) Henderson, 90, of Blue Earth, formerly of Frost, were held July 13, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. Interment was at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery of rural Frost. Charlotte died July 9, 2007 at Blue Earth.
Charlotte Nodland Henderson was born July 21, 1916 in Frost, the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Larson) Nodland. She was reaised and educated in the rural Frost area and was a 1934 graduate of Bricelyn High School. She married Albert N. Henderson on January 26, 1935 in rural Frost. She was baptised, confirmed and married by Pastor Okerlund of Bethany Lutheran Church who also baptised her children.
Albert and Charlotte farmed in the Frost, Kiester and Bricelyn areas before moving to Frost in 1952 where they owned and operated the Henderson 66 service station. She was a longtime member of United Lutheran Church in Frost where she served in many leadership roles. The couple retired in 1983. In 1998, after 46 years in Frost, they moved to Blue Earth.
She is survived by three daughters: Carrie (Doyle) Koestler of Wells; Laura (Trevor) Jacobson of Salem, Oregon and Alma (Richardson) Kallesen of Sioux Falls; one brother, Eugene (Anna Mae) Nodland of Frost; nine grandchildred and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert in 2001, an infant son, Donald in 1943, a brother Thelmer Nodland and a son-in-law Lester Belleque.
