Amy I. (Johnson) Hanson

Funeral services for Amy I. (Johnson) Hanson were Saturday, December 8, 2007, at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center Chapel in Blue Earth. Burial was at Riverside cemtery in Blue Earth. Amy died December 4, 2007, at St. Luke's i Blue Earth.
Amy was born April 3, 1911, in Wheaton, Minn., the daughter of Ole and Gena (Myaer. When she was 13 she moved with her family to North Dakota. She graduated from Mohall High School in 1930. She married Dr. M. W. Johnson in 1937. They lived in Frost for many years where he was a dentist. They moved to International Falls from 1960 - 1970 and moved back to Frost following their retirement. He preceded her in death.
She married Dr. Lewis Hanson in 1986. He preceded her in death in 1994.
She was an active member of United Lutheran Chrch in Frost and its WELCA. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and reading.
She is survived by two childre: Alice Lewis of Phoenix and Allan T. Johnson of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by grandchildren: Michael W. Johnson (wife Kathy), Kristen Hemmingson (husband Craig), Allan T. Johnson Jr., Sara Newton, and Eric Lewis (wife Anca). Great-grandchildren: Michael Johnson Jr., Mitchel Johnson, Katelyn and Carly Hemmingson, Tiffani Newton and Bianca Lewis, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her daughter Ann Susan Johnson and 12 brothers and sisters.
