Funeral services for Tim Njoes were December 17 at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center.

Tim was born February 25, 1913, in Frost, the son of John and Bertha (Munson) Njoes. He married Thelma A. Folken in 1945. They spent some time in Califrnia and Seattle before returning to Frost in the later 1940's. In the early 1950's they opened Tim's Cafe until retiring in 1978. Tim's Cafe was a popular gathering place for students - especially after football and basketball games. They moved to Bloomington in in the late 1970's and managed an apartment complex. Following Thelma's death in 1994, Tim returned to Frost. He had been a resident of St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center since 1996.

Tim Njoes is survived by two sisters-in-law: Arlene Njoes of Bloomington and Dorothy Neshiem of Blue Earth. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, sister, Eunice Amundson, and three brothers, Burton, Ervin "Skip", and Clarence Njoes.
