Funeral services for Kenneth Nesheim, formerly of Frost, were Tuesday, May 6, at the First English Lutheran Church in Faribault with burial at United Lutheran Cemetery in Frost. 

Kenneth Nesheim died May 3, 2003, at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault. 

Kenneth H. Nesheim, son of Ted K. and Hannah (Lund) Nesheim, was born August 27, 1915, in Frost. He married Dorothy L. Kittlesen February 14, 1936, in Frost.

He was employed by Jensvold Implement Co. from 1936 - 1959; State Bank of Frost from 1959 - 1967; Chisago County Bank of Center City from 1967 - 1973; Wilcox Imp Co. of Harris from 1973 - 1978; and Cambridge Imp Co. of Cambridge from 1978 - 1980.

He served as councilman, mayor and fire chief of Rake and treasurer for Frost. He was a talented musician and was well known for his violin playing in area churches and community events as wells as in the Cannon Valley Orchestra and Mankato Symphony.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one daughter, Karen Ron) Parker of Faribault; one son Joe (Jan) Nesheim of Point Venture, Texas; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, LaVonne Gray of Ankeny, Iowa; three sisters-in-l;aw, Dorothy A. Nesheim andSylvia Nesheim of Mankato, and Dorothy L. Nesheim of Blue Earth. He was prceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Donald, Wilbur, Wallace and Glen Nesheim; and one great grand daughter, Katie Elizabeth Story.
